BAMS is an Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) chartered Silver Leader RC model airplane flying club located in Boerne, Texas. Our flying field is located within Kendall County's Joshua Springs Park, north of San Antonio (take IH-10 exit 533, to Welfare). For information on finding the field and to see our airspace, click here to go to the map. These two links show the full NOAA or Air Sports Network weather forecast for the field. Another good source for wind information is Sailflow.

August, 2016Work on our field improvements has produced great results. The field has been widened, taxiways added, and a sun/weather shelter has been built. Plus, Chris and his crew have manicured the site to golf course standards. Check out this aerial view. A big shout-out to all those members that worked on this project during the summer heat!
